Terms & Conditions – Connect

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Connect, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Services Provided

Connect offers:
- Halal matchmaking services with guardian involvement.
- Counseling sessions with verified professionals.
- Access to resources, blogs, and videos.

3. User Responsibilities

- Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- All information provided must be truthful and accurate.
- Users must respect others and use the app for marriage and counseling purposes only.
- Misuse (fraud, harassment, abuse, or non-serious activity) may result in immediate account suspension.

4. Guardian Notifications

For every match, guardians (walis) are notified to ensure transparency and seriousness of intent. Users accept this feature as a mandatory part of the service.

5. Counseling Services

​- All counselors are verified, but Connect does not guarantee specific outcomes from counseling sessions.
- Users are responsible for their own decisions based on advice received.
- Connect is not liable for any personal, emotional, or financial decisions made outside the app.

6. Payments & Fees

- Counseling sessions are charged per booking.
- Premium features (e.g., extended matchmaking) may require monthly subscription fees.
- Payments are processed securely via trusted gateways.

7. Liability Limitation

- Connect provides services on an “as is” basis.
- We are not responsible for the behavior, authenticity, or intentions of users beyond verification checks.
- We do not guarantee that every match will lead to marriage.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Connect is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

8. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in harmful behavior, or misuse the platform.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
